Terms of use and sale

This is a translation of the French version. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to the CloudOS Architect game, the cloudos.ca website and the related services (account, cloud saves, leaderboard, shop), operated by [TO BE COMPLETED : company name, legal form and NEQ] (“CloudOS”, “we”).

2. Account

The game requires a free account. Creating an account requires a username, a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Your username must not be offensive or misleading, nor infringe the rights of others; we may change it or suspend an account in case of abuse.

3. Code of conduct

• Do not cheat, exploit a bug or automate the game to distort the leaderboard.
• Do not try to access other people's accounts or data, or disrupt the service.
• Suspicious games may be excluded from the leaderboard; accounts in breach may be suspended.

4. Digital content and purchases

The shop offers digital content (in-game capital and experience, “Architect Pro” status, skins). It has no monetary value, cannot be traded or converted into money, and only grants a personal license to use it in the game. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), with no taxes applicable at this time. Payment is processed by PayPal; in-game delivery is immediate once the payment is confirmed, and an invoice is sent to you by email.

By requesting the immediate delivery of digital content, you acknowledge that its performance begins upon payment. Refund terms are described in the refund policy.

5. Availability and changes to the service

We strive to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it. The game evolves: balancing, content and features may change. We may interrupt the service for maintenance.

6. Intellectual property

The game, its visuals, texts, logos and code are protected. You may share screenshots and videos of your games for non-commercial or content-creation purposes, crediting CloudOS Architect.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid during the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms.

9. Governing law
